 MB Learn Runes Software Help
MB Learn Runes Software is an educational tool for learning the basics of runes reading. The program can be used to memorize different meanings and keywords of the different stones as well as test the user’s knowledge. This program is extremely simple and very useful for beginners who want to learn to read the Runes. The program also includes a Goal Reminder which helps the user set goals that he intends to achieve and keep reminding him about them.
The software has a simple and easy to use interface that is explained below:
When you start the software the Startup Screen will show you various options and information about the software (click here to see sample screen shot and all its options explained in details.) - ranging from the software version number (caption 2 in screen shot) to the software System ID (caption 4 in screen shot) to the three different registration methods (caption 11, 12, 13 and 14 in screen shot) and also unlock option (caption 7 in screen shot) for the software so that you can use it without any time or feature limitations.
Among the various options you will see there are THREE BUTTONS (captions numbers 5, 6 and 7). The help button will bring you to the MB Learn Runes Software. Unlock will open the unlock code input screen.
In order to start using the software you need to Click the "CONTINUE" button to go to the MB Learn Runes Software's Main Screen and start using the software.
Click on Continue to go to the main screen.
MB Learn Runes Software is divided into three sections:
Section I: Goals – Goal Reminder
You can save and edit your goals in this window.
Section II: Test Set Up
The user can set up his learning and testing preferences here. You can choose specific categories for learning purposes. The level of difficulty at time of taking a test can be set to Beginner and Advanced.
In the tutorial or while memorizing stones, keywords and descriptions for the upright, reversed and the markstave stones are shown in the same window. Also keywords are same for these stones, only the meanings change.
Click on the Save Current Settings As Default to save the settings that you have chosen.
The user can also choose the type of test that he wants to take: Stone Meanings or Stone Keywords. He can also choose the particular option depending on which level of reading he has reached.
Click on Memorize Meanings /Keywords to start the learning process.
Click on Test Set Up to directly start testing your runes reading skills.
Section III: Memorize Stones
This section helps the user memorize the symbolic description or keywords of the stones chosen. The meanings of the stones are displayed one by one along with their images. This helps the user associate the image with the particular meanings or set of keywords.
Upright Meaning: This displays the meanings of the image of the stone seen in the upright position.
Reverse Meaning: This displays the reverse meanings of the reversed image of the stone seen in the reversed position.
Markstave Meaning: This displays the meanings of the image of the stone seen in the markstave position.
Keywords: These are the set of keywords exclusive for a particular stone.
At any time you can go back to the previous or next card by clicking on Back or Next buttons.
You can also take the test at any time by clicking on the Test Set Up button.
